This Cookie Policy explains how Kreative Learners Academy, operated by I.T. Kreative Inc., uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on our Platform.
What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. They help websites remember your preferences, maintain your session, and collect analytics data. Similar technologies include web beacons, pixel tags, and local storage.
Types of Cookies We Use
Essential Cookies
These cookies are required for the Platform to function. They include session cookies that keep you logged in, security tokens, and preferences that you've set. These cannot be disabled without breaking Platform functionality.
Functional Cookies
These cookies remember your preferences and settings, such as your preferred language, display settings, and recently viewed courses. Disabling these may affect your Platform experience.
Analytics Cookies
We use analytics cookies to understand how users interact with the Platform — which pages are visited most, how long users spend on courses, and where users come from. This data is aggregated and used to improve our services. We do not use this data to build personal advertising profiles.
Payment Cookies
Our payment processor, Stripe, may set cookies to facilitate secure transaction processing and fraud prevention. These are governed by Stripe's Cookie Policy.
Affiliate Tracking Cookies
The Platform operates an Affiliate Program that uses cookies to attribute referrals to affiliates. These cookies are essential for the affiliate program to function correctly:
Referral Cookies
When a visitor clicks an affiliate referral link, a referral cookie is set on their device. This cookie stores:
- Purpose: Identifies which affiliate referred the visitor, so commissions can be attributed correctly
- Duration: 30 days from the click date (configurable per course by the instructor)
- Data stored: Affiliate referral code only (no personal data)
- Scope: Limited to the Kreative Learners Academy domain
- SameSite attribute: Set to
Laxfor security
Campaign Cookies
If an affiliate link includes a campaign ID, a campaign cookie may be set to track the specific marketing campaign that drove the referral. This helps affiliates measure campaign effectiveness.
- Purpose: Tracks which marketing campaign generated the click
- Duration: 30 days (same as referral cookie)
- Data stored: Campaign identifier only
Attribution Cookies
Attribution cookies help determine which affiliate should receive commission for a sale. The last affiliate link clicked before purchase receives the commission.
- Purpose: Ensures the correct affiliate is credited for a sale
- Duration: 30 days from the most recent affiliate link click
- Consent: Referral cookies are set automatically when a user clicks an affiliate link, as they are essential for the affiliate program to function
Cookie Management for Affiliate Tracking
If a visitor clears their cookies or uses a private browsing mode, affiliate attribution may be lost. If multiple affiliates refer the same visitor, the last click receives the commission. Self-referral is blocked — affiliates cannot earn commissions on their own purchases.
For more information about affiliate data processing, see our Privacy Policy and the Affiliate Program Agreement.
Third-Party Cookies
Some third-party services integrated into the Platform (such as Google for authentication and Stripe for payments) may set their own cookies. These are governed by their respective privacy policies, over which we have no control.
Managing Cookies
You can control and manage cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:
- View what cookies are stored and delete them individually
- Block third-party cookies
- Block cookies from specific websites
- Block all cookies
- Delete cookies when you close your browser
Please note that blocking essential cookies will prevent you from logging in and using key Platform features.
Do Not Track
Some browsers support a "Do Not Track" (DNT) feature that sends a signal to websites requesting that your browsing not be tracked. Currently, there is no industry-standard interpretation of DNT signals, and our Platform does not alter its data collection practices based on DNT browser settings.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
